Has anybody tried painted auto parts store?

I need a new rear bumper for my mercedes w212. This website called "painted auto parts" sells the capa certified bumper. You send them your paint code and they paint it and ship it to you unfolded. The total for my bumper is $511 shipped.

Has anyone tried this specific store? Are the body parts any good?

I could buy a primed capa certified bumper and have a local paint shop paint it for about the same, $500 all in.

Which option is better?

Is this alignment bad?

Staggered Mercedes E class. The rear tires had super bad uneven wear on the inside edge. They were half bald half new. The tire was destroyed in 5k miles.

I just put a new set of continentals on it and had it aligned. It looks like they barely changed the rear alignment? Are my tires going to have uneven wear again?

I know on Mercedes the camber isn't adjustable but the toe is. How was the toe in the green before the alignment if the tires were unevenly worn?

AC refrigerant reading high when system is actually low?

2013 Mercedes ML350. The AC is not cold. AC compressor is turning on and working. Xentry shows a code for low refrigerant.

I got a recharge kit and it's reading high as if it was overfilled. It is showing between 70 - 80 psi. I couldn't get the pressure to go to a normal range at all so I just charged it alittle bit anyway and the AC got slightly colder. The pressure reading remained the same.

Does anyone know why this would happen? Should I just charge it anyway even though the pressure is reading high? Could it be a leak?

Tune for 2015 e400?

I have a 2015 e400 4matic w212 with 125k miles.

I gave it a full suspension refresh, installed high flow intake, staggered wheels with performance tires, and im about to install 4 piston brembos.

This car has the twin turbo m276 engine. It makes 330hp 350ftlb torque.

Other variants with this engine like the c43, e43, and 450 models push closer to 400hp.

It would be nice if I could make this car closer to 400hp but I dont want the car to destroy itself. Ideally I would like to get over 200k miles out of it.

Has anyone done a stage 1 tune on an e400 while sustaining reliability? What is my best option for a tune?

I was thinking about piggyback modules like the racechip but those have some mixed reviews about their power gains. I dont want to take it to a shop and want to tune it myself without a dyno. What's my best option here?

Should I do the tune at all or leave it stock? I feel like this car could handle a lot more power but I mostly drive it in eco mode anyway. It is my daily driver.

91 vs 93 octane fuel?

Do you guys run 91 or 93 octane fuel in your Mercedes?

I always got 93 because 91 is uncommon at gas stations. The car says to use 91 octane minimum. I found a gas station that has 91 20 cents cheaper than 93. I'm thinking about running 91 instead.

On stock tuning does 93 do anything more than 91?

Specifically asking about the turbocharged M276.

I need new tires for my awd staggered mercedes. 255/35r19 in the rear, 235/35r19 in the front.

I want good tires for this car but I've never had expensive tires before. These come up to about $1000 total.

Are the Continental tires worth $1000? Is it a waste of money compared to cheaper tires like goodyear or arroyo?

If its not going to make an amazing difference i won't get them. Has anyone tried these before?

My 2015 face-lift w212 has a bad CV boot. The pre face lift w212 has a super easy access point to tap it out from the transmission side. The face-lift model has it completely closed off with frame.

Does anyone know how to remove the CV axle from the transmission? I don't want to pull on it and risk breaking it.
