Samaya Alpinist 2 or 3?

I've found a good deal on both the Samaya Alpinist 2 or 3 (€5 difference), so I'm debating which of the two tents to get. I'm looking for a bivvy style tent for a long time now for fast and light objectives and my regular tent is quite heavy and bulky in my pack. I'd like to buy the 2 persen version, since it's minimal weight should be 210 grams lighter, however I think it's too narrow (120cm) for the sleeping pads width me and my mate have (our pads are both 64cm wide, since we're pretty tall).

Anyone who has this tent and would like to share their experience with it? I can't find any good reviews online which are not about the Samaya alpinist ultra instead of the normal version. If I look at the specs, it looks like it's quite a step-up from similar tents like the Simond Makalu Alpinsm or the Black Diamond firstlight.

Hi, I want to go to South America somewhere in November/December for three weeks with a mate. We have climbed alpine routes up to AD+ in the alps and central Asia (max 5Km high) independently and would like to do something like this in SA. I saw online that the best region for Peru/Bolivia is somewhere in May/June, so we are of season by half a year.

Any recommendations on where to go to? We'd like to climb up some mountains with PD/AD difficulty, up to 6000 meters (we have 1,5 boots, but don't want to buy new double boots if not necessary). Also, we want to do at least a bit of climbing, so no easy volcanoes in ecquador or something.
