SPX vs XSP vs SPY for 0DTE vertical put spreads

Hey all. I'm trying to make roughly $200/day using vertical put spreads on SPY and have been targeting a 10 cent spread with about 25 contracts.

What I don't like is that the fees for SPY are about 22% of my profit, and that there's potential for assignment if the short leg goes ITM.

I know that SPX is cash settled and has lower fees but I'm not sure if the volatility in the options pricing would be slow enough for me to manage given how wild today was.

Is XSP the better fund to trade with for this purpose? I think the only downside to XSP is lower liquidity but I'm not sure hpw that would affect me. I try to close my positions at .01 spread value.

Got a moving bonus last year and got taxed into oblivion. Filing my taxes and realizing I'm not getting any of it back. Any recourse here?

Last year I switched employers twice, and the second time I got a relocation bonus of about $16,000. I made the stupid mistake of asking them to pay it out at the end of the year instead of this year, and was taxed pretty much 50% since they paid it out with my regular paycheck.

I figured I would just get it back on my tax refund, but that's just not happening. I was in Illinois for Nov/Dec and that's when I got the bonus so it's reported under Illinois state return.

Since my total wages were high last year (~$215k) as a single earner, is there anything I can do to get some more back?

How difficult is it to fix sunroof rattling by yourself? What about speaker replacements?

I have a 2024 S5, bought new. My sunroof had a constant tapping noise until I finally took it in and they put some felt tape on it. It was fine for a month, then started making noise again. More felt tape, and within a week, more noise.

They also weren't able to fix my passenger side door handle rattling due to bass. So I want to replace all the speakers now.

I'm thinking to get the speakers done at a reputable shop, but as for the sunroof, is it pretty much impossible for an owner to fix the rattling himself? I've seen the TSBs and they seem pretty detailed but I'm not sure if I'd have the tools for it if anything special is required.

My car is still under manufacturer warranty but it seems like the dealership won't be able to really fix the sunroof.
