Capture Card Recommendations
I am looking for capture card recommendations for a dual PC setup for both streaming and recording with OBS. My secondary streaming computer is powerful enough to easily handle any streaming/recording that would take place.
I know basically nothing about capture cards but I am tech savvy otherwise to setup OBS. I have two scenarios I would like to cover:
Streaming: Playing at 1440p 280hz and outputting 1080p 60 fps
Recording: Playing at 1440p 280hz and outputting 1440p 60 fps
What capture cards are recommended for these requirements? Also, I’ve heard about pass through but do not know how it works. My gaming computer is connected to a 1440p monitor while my streaming PC is connected to a 1080p monitor. Can I still output 1440p to the streaming PC or does that display also need to be 1440p?
