Books that explore massive passages of time
I wasn’t sure really how to show what I meant.
I want a book that makes my stomach feel feels as I ponder the vast existential yawn of history and future, doesn’t have to be sci-fi but they usually are.
I love the passages in The Time Machine that describe how the landscape changes over millennia as he watches.
I love The Last And First Men, both the book and the movie(doc?).
I love the Dune series, and The Passage series (Cronin).
I love reading the Human Interference Task Force writings over and over.
Just some I can think of off the top of my head.
