Conspiracy time…

Conspiracy time…

So I’ve lived here for 10+ years, and in all the time I’ve lived here, this Long John silvers+ A&W combo off I-35 frontage road, right before seguin Ave (in front of the old whataburger) has sat there nearly always empty. Very rarely do I see more than one car in the drive thru if any at all.

I went through the drive thru once for the science of it. I of course was the only car even though it should have been a busy time, it seemed like there was only one person working in there, I remember it was an extended wait before anybody talked to me at the drive thru board, which by the way, looked like it had been created on Microsoft art or something, which makes no sense considering they are a national chain, I would assume they would get access to materials from corporate. Anyway, my order took way too long considering I was the only one in drive and the parking lot was empty.

So what’s the theory? Money laundering? Crack store fronting as a restaurant? This location is prime real estate, and it just makes no sense for the owners not to spruce it up with a fresh remodel or even just selling the building, really any restaurant could do well in this location imo. If anybody has any experience with this place whether work experience, customer experience, a story from there, anything at all I’d be interested.

I am making small hand bags with cloth liners on the interior, one major flaw I can’t seem to figure out the solution for is keeping the cloth liner from coming out of the edges, like circled in the picture below. Any insights (from those experienced) are very appreciated.
