I've posted this question few days ago but it wasn't received well because it might have been worded better and also i realized it was missing details. So this is my second attempt at it, trying to provide as much detail as i can.

This is a package of 5, with

1 (cyborg7) doing OCA - similar route as me, +00:04:00 TOS offset

2 (eagle5) doing OCA - different route, harder to take care of

3 (stud3) doing sweep; - similar route until stpt 5 with + 00:01:00 TOS offset - on its own later

4 (bulldog2 - ME) doing SEAD;

5 (viper4) doing escort - same route as me, +00:02:00 TOS offset

Looks like a quite complex mission to me and i can't wrap my head about how/when to time HARM launches in order to keep all those SAMs shut at the right time. So i'm gonna go like this, considering i'm leading a flight of 4.

1 and 2 are carrying 2+2 HARMs.

3 is carrying 8 GBUs

4 is carrying 2 HARMs.

Timeline

3 doing DEAD on PPT56, which i recon and assign every launcher individually - assuming/hoping that when i issue the order to element, 3 is going to bomb them instead of 4

3 doing DEAD on PPT57 - like above

1 is doing SEAD - timed HARM suppression on PPT59

2-4 will be issued orders via HAD targets when needed

Looks like a lot to manage but cannot figure out any other way of doing this. How would you do this mission? What would the process be for you to plan?

I actually run a VPC warbrd, warthog throttle, tm viper panel and total controls ICP. Planning to add a pair of ww Mfds with display.

I'm quite paranoid about keeping my stuff in good health so after every session I unplug the USBs and cover my gear for dust, moisture etc

When I plug in I wait for my PC to be up, then I power my USB hub up, then plug cables in.

Do you consider a safe practice to keep the USB cables plugged in a shut down USB hub, then power the hub on and let the power flow in every device at the same time? I'm no expert but I have a feeling that a 30€ hub could have a power management that is not optimal hence damaging the units.

How you do this?

Specifically

1 first thing, I try to figure out in 2d when the other flights of the package will be trespassing the sam wez. There must be something I don't know because the only way to see other flights stpts is in the WDP. In 2d planning I can cycle their waypoints but the map will only show my flight route and the stpts are not the same for every flight. This process feels very awkward.

2 after going through this effort (in this case is a package of 5 and I lead a flight with 4 members) I should plan how to time my shots, my wingman shots and my element's. The only effective way I found to issue the orders is by designating a target through the HAD so I'm not actually planning, rather I need a lot of micro management while in flight

3 what is the math to time the shots? I mean I can calculate how long each flight will be in 1 wez and I in this case keeping the Sam shut requires at least 2 shots and I've not enough weapons to deal with all the sites (4 known, but there could be more).

I'm a bit confused, any help would be greatly appreciated.
