Starting Pitchers for SF Series

Dodgers seek to salvage this homestand with a 4-game series against their greatest rivals. Giants got the best of them the previous series but they have since fallen quite hard, having just narrowly avoided a 4-series losing streak that included an 0-6 road trip. If there was ever a team for the Dodgers to right their bats against, it'd be this one.

  1. Sasaki vs. Trevor McDonald (RHP, 1-0, 1.29 ERA) - McDonald was called up to replace Webb when he went on the IL, he pitched 7 innings in his first and only start this year, against SD, allowing just 1 earned run, and struck out 8.

  2. Yamamoto vs. Adrian Houser (RHP, 6.19 ERA)

  3. Ohtani vs. Robbie Ray (LHP, 2.76 ERA)

  4. Sheehan vs. Landen Roupp (RHP, 3.09 ERA)

Mookie struck out, singled, and drew a walk in what was likely his final rehab game before returning to the Dodgers lineup Monday. He went 2-for-5 in his two rehab games with 2 singles.

Justin Wrobleski has been even more dominant than his season numbers show, posting a MLB-best 0.56 ERA as a starter.

His full-season 1.25 ERA is “inflated” due to 3 runs he gave up to Cleveland as a reliever.
