Every post these days are, people babying the throttle trying to show off their fuel economy...

Guys you have bought a turbo GDI car, you can't baby the throttle trying to achieve fuel economy...

This engine is running low compression by design and your injectors are placed inside the cylinders, unlike an NA engine where your fuel is fed via intake ports. Due to this you will have carbon deposits on your injectors in the long run, as the engine isn't creating enough exhaust pressure to blow off the deposit.

The engine also uses fuel to cool the inside temps. If theres a lot of deposit and enough fuel isn't being misted in, inside temps will rise and cause whatever fuel that enters to pre ignite/ignite at wrong stage of the 4 stroke cycle causing knock.

You are effectively ruining your engine. Drive the thing like you mean it people...
