Running LM this weekend and ITB issues. Please help kind people.

Thanks to the kind people who commented on my previous post regarding ITB issues. I have the marathon coming up this weekend. To summarise, I ran a half 2 weeks back, recovered in couple days. Did not run for couple weeks and couldn’t increase mileage due to a bad flu. Have run London Marathon before in 2024 without issues. Fairly active. Tried a 10 mile last week and had a 4/10 pain in ITB area by Mile 10. Rested, Ice, stretches for next 3 days. Did a 2.5 mile yesterday easy pace and felt a discomfort and niggle (2.5/10 pain) and stopped. It seems fine today morning apart from a slight niggle when up and down steps etc. I really need to run this weekend as it is for a cause I cannot avoid. Will KT tapes help or braces? Would you recommend a sports massage today or tomorrow? I will be taking a break from running for quite a while after this but I want to do LM. Mentally I am there 200/100. Please help.

Feeling quite low just a week before LM26. ITB issues flared up and not enough runs under the belt. Suggestions and strategy to manage?

Ran a 10 mile at 11:20/mi easy and was aiming at 16 miles. The ITB/outer knee area flared up and I stopped. Have a 4-5/10 pain now the next day. My previous running is London 2024 @ 5:30 hrs, generally play football and used to do some running weekly. I am 33 male. I have been running 3-4 days a week at least 4-5 miles over the last few months and upto 10 miles long runs over the past two months. Ran a half marathon 2 weeks back at 2:15 hours. Came down with a bad flu and congestion and kind of ruined two weeks for me wherein I decided to not run London this year. However, last couple days I decided do not wanna give up as you do not always get a chance and want to finish strong and do reasonably well (sub 5 is good enough). But with this pain since yesterday, I am mentally shattered. I know I have not done enough training but I really wanna do well. Had a month after the half and the plan was to go upto 18 miles but the sickness really took a toll. Any kind words, suggestions from the lovely people here on how to manage and finish decent. Please.
