I broke it. Can it be fixed?

My boyfriend gave me a Canon EOS 7 as a present for birthing our daughter. It was such a lovely sentiment as he went through a lot of trouble to get it, as he already had tried getting me a different camera that didn’t work and had to send it back and and it had been an endless back and forth, but he’d been searching around and doing research to find me a fun camera and ended up getting this one all the way from Japan. I was so excited cause it kept getting dragged out and was itching to shoot some film and having days out together taking pictures.
I wanted it to be a camera I could have in my bag to grab to take photos when out and about, and so I had it in my bag - first day out. Coming home, taking our daughter out the car and swing her up on my hip while grabbing the bag with my other hand and swing that over my shoulder. It was open. I see my camera in slow motion fling out of the bag like I was going for a hammer throw medal and watch it bounce off the cement floor. At least it missed the puddle. I literally felt sick to my stomach and probably would have been happier to crash the car. I’m heartbroken.
The only visible damage is the clip part that holds the camera back, but there obviously might be more internal damage - it had surprisingly little damage on the outside - but I really want to see if this can be fixed somehow and work from there
We live in a country where there isn’t really any places servicing analog cameras so there’s nowhere I can take it in to be looked at.
