Current Imbalance warning on RTX 5090

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has used the Thermal Grizzly WireView Pro II with an RTX 5090.

I installed the WireView Pro II, connected the USB, installed the power switch cable and the software is detecting it properly (Firmware is on v03). I enabled the safety features and while I was gaming, after a while the buzzer went off and the PC hard shut down due to current imbalance. On the WireView itself, the screen said “Pin 2 0A Pin 1 0A”.

After that happened, I fully powered the system down, switched off the PSU, unplugged power, checked all the connections, and reseated everything. Visually, the connections looked fine and nothing looked melted or damaged. After turning it back on, I noticed the settings had reset in the software, so now I’m also not sure whether that is normal behavior or whether I failed to save them properly.

Im just wondering what to do now, and wanted to ask if this is a normal warning? Mind you I changed the default settings for the Imbalance from a warning to a buzzer + hard reset, so Im wondering if there is a reason they were off in the first place. Should I maybe turn them off and monitor the logs while gaming? And what would read as a bad/good result? Thanks in advance.
