Before I start this, I don’t need therapy.
I was always the chubby kid from what I remember, I’m 28 now. Pre Covid, I used fasting - 21 day fast + rolling fasts to lose weight.
After Covid my grandad passed away and things went downhill, he was a father figure to me - I’ve only grown up with my mum.
I binge eat emotionally and have tried many diets and systems to try and lose fat but I just can’t do it - again I don’t need therapy.
I’m 198 LBS (90kg), I’m 5’8 so classified as obese for my height and weight class. My goal is to be at 150 LBS (68kg).
I have a girlfriend and we enjoy eating out, not unhealthy but going to restaurants so my weekends can be social as we bond over food and try new cuisines.
My weekdays are pretty chill though. I do go to the gym but maintaining a calorie deficit is very hard when an unexpected day comes up and you’ve undone the whole week..
So I’m asking this community to help me, I want to start rolling fasts, Monday - Thursday 96 hour fasting, obviously it won’t be the same every week, sometimes maybe more sometimes maybe less - has anyone done this with success, any tips for me?
My why is strong but I’ve tried to fast since then but have failed many many times.
Ideally I’d like to lose this 40LBS in 4 months.
Please give me words of encouragement, I really want to change my life 🙏🏼
