Just tested out a new 12.5" AR build, but I'm getting consistent FTEs (about every other round).

Some possible causes:

This is with hand loaded rounds (120gr w/ 26.5gr of 8208 XBR), definitely on the safer side but is not underpowered (I don't think so at least, getting 2130 fps on avg).
I am running an A5H2 buffer system, which I thought is supposed be more friendly to over/undergas?
The 12.5" barrel has a mid-length gas system and I am unsuppressed. This one seems to be the most likely issue to me.
