I have caught the kei car bug and I am wondering what experience folks here may have had with the dealership.

How was the shopping process? Test drive? The actual purchasing? I assume it is like most any dealership, so what I'm specifically wondering are they only selling cars after a once over from a good mechanic or just importing what they can and selling?
