What makes you hate onions?
Hey there fellow onion haters.
I thought today I’d take a quick little poll because I’m curious. What gives you the ick about onions? Is it the flavor? The texture? Both? Some reason I haven’t thought of? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Personally, I don’t mind the flavor. For dishes that just “wouldn’t be the same” with out onion (or so I’m told) I use onion powder when I cook or I put the onions in a spice bag during the cooking then remove the bag for serving. But the texture violently triggers my gag reflex.
