Just updated Codex (latest version says I’m fully up to date), but now the app won’t load past a weird state.

All I see is:

• A “You’re up to date!” popup
• Blank background
• Codex icon just sitting there… doing nothing

No UI, no menus, nothing clickable beyond the OK button.

I’ve tried:

• Restarting the app
• Waiting a full minute after clicking OK
• Reopening multiple times

Same result every time.

This doesn’t feel like a hardware issue… feels like something broke in the update or the UI isn’t initializing properly.

Questions:

• Is anyone else experiencing this right now?
• Is this a known issue with the latest version?
• Any fixes that don’t involve nuking app data yet?

Running on Mac (16GB RAM, if that matters).

Appreciate any help before I start digging into cache resets or reinstalling 🙏
