Mini 2.6 Fusing Assistance

Mini 2.6 Fusing Assistance

Greetings all,

I use the Artkal 2.6 C-Series Mini beads, and have for some time. Fusing projects 5000-10000 beads is average, but they easily fit under a sheet of parchment paper.

I've found my biggest struggle is fusing 3-4+ pegboards. The melting sheets these guys sell (while awesome for most) don't get very big. Trying to cut multiple pieces of parchment paper, laying it all out and prepare for ironing... just so many chances to lose beads.

What success have you guys had with these? Again, these ate the 2.6 beads. A lot of what I've seen online is taping small items. Or larger projects, but mostly using 5M boards/beads.

I just find myself making a lot of these, and end up with 4-5 tiles waiting to be ironed. I've found I'm terrified of losing hours of work. I'm currently sitting with 4 of them for a current project for a family member. Luckily this one has a LOOOOT of black, but mine very rarely use a basic palette of colors.

I've considered trying to have a tray of some adhesive to dip in before I place on the board. Trying to fuse them in such a way I can still re-assemble each board after fusing them individually.

The taping method I totally get, but after losing about 800 beads on one project because the tape slipped off my finger and curled. :'( I'm considering it here, but again, just the 'what if'. I've resigned myself to the fact that I'd rather buy in bulk peg boards to throw away after each use vs. lose it all to a piece of tape.

I'm rambling at this point, and thank you if you're still reading this. The keychains are fun, but I got 178 colors for a reason. :D But the complicated ones are just very daunting..

This is one I'm tryong to start on, so any help is appreciated. <3
