I live with a very unfortunate last name of Ondick (Ondic which is Slovakian, pronounced un-ditch or un-dik), and my name is Lane Edward. Should I change my name or just live with at this point? I am 40 years old and I have looked into changing my name twice, but for some reason, with credit cards, mortgage, insurance, 401k, work, banking institutions, court orders, it seems like a huge hassle. I mean I am already old, married, have kids, a house, etc. I think changing it would be too much trouble at this point.
