Building Code Awake, a tiny macOS menu bar app that keeps your Mac awake during builds, downloads, presentations, remote sessions, and closed-lid workflows.
It started because I needed my Mac to stay available, and some similar apps don’t really handle closed-lid use well.
Funny timing, @openai just released Codex remote access in the ChatGPT mobile app, so this feels even more useful now.
It's Free.
Hey everyone 👋
I built Paletteo because I was tired of jumping between random color tools, screenshots, notes, and messy palette workflows.
Paletteo is a color workspace for designers and makers where you can:
• Generate palettes and gradients
• Extract colors from images
• Organize projects and collections
• Check accessibility & contrast
• Sync palettes with Figma
• Share palettes instantly with QR codes
The goal was to make working with colors feel fast, clean, and actually enjoyable instead of opening 5 different tools for one task.
Would love to hear what features you usually miss in color apps 👀
✌️Just added a new onboarding/tutorial flow in Paletteo to help people understand the app faster and actually get value from the first use.
I’m trying to find the right balance between guiding users and not overloading them. Some apps walk you through everything step by step, others stay minimal and let you figure things out on your own.
What works better for you? Do you prefer clear guidance upfront, or more freedom to explore at your own pace?
✌️Just added a new tutorial flow in Paletteo app. So I built a simple onboarding tutorial to help people find value faster.
Trying to find the right balance here, do you prefer apps that guide you step by step, or ones that let you explore on your own?
Just shipped a new update for Open Pi — now you can control GPIO pins and run network speed tests directly from your phone. Also fixed bugs and cleaned up parts of the UI. Trying to make Raspberry Pi management less dependent on SSH.
New Open Pi update is live: GPIO controls, speed tests, UI improvements, and bug fixes. Small update, but useful if you run your Raspberry Pi headless.
Released a new version of Open Pi with GPIO controls and built-in speed tests for your Raspberry Pi. Makes quick troubleshooting much easier.
Added GPIO controls + speed tests to Open Pi. Now I can handle even more Raspberry Pi tasks from my phone instead of opening terminal.
New update for Open Pi: control GPIO, test network speed, and manage your Raspberry Pi with fewer terminal sessions.
