If an Octopus Could Palm is Too Expensive
The title says it all, but I want you guys to chime in. Why is this book so expensive? Even the original cards are. I just saw a listing on Ebay for book and deck for €1700 I poop you not.
I would love to own a copy of the book, but what magician who doesn't already own it has the kind of money where they can drop almost 2 stacks on a book?
Listen this is coming from the guy who just spent, without batting an eyelid, €200 on Strong Magic (signed, hell yeah) by Darwin Ortiz, and I feel like that's a fair price for what is considered a classic and invaluable magic book.
Anyways I would love to see if I'm alone in thinking that the sellers of these books are gonna be cleaning them of dust for a while to come.
