[May 10] Update

Hey guys 💛 I’m feeling better again since my last post, so I’m back to working through subreddit posts! Also, thank you so much to everyone who commented kindly on my last update post. I really appreciated it!

Some of ya may have already moved on from the posts you made, so if you get a sudden comment from me out of nowhere, that’s why haha. I’m going back through what’s already there and answering what I can.

Right now I’m thinking I want to work through the existing posts first, then I’ll host more Arcwalks after that. I’ll either host official Arcwalk sign-ups on June 1st if I get swamped by subreddit posts, or I’ll host them sooner if I get through the current posts more quickly. (Click here to sign up for Arcwalk Sign-ups Email Notifications)

May doesn't have a Trailhead like April's, so I will not make any planned posts unless something really hits me and I feel called to write about it.

If you’ve been waiting for an Arcwalk, feel free to post your chart in the subreddit. If you made an older post that I never got to, you can also send me the link and I’ll add it back into my little walking path. I’m itching to answer people again, so I’m excited to start moving through the posts. Hopefully this doesn’t backfire on me, haha, my pace will still be slow. 🌙

Also, if you’re waiting on a response from me to questions you already asked from past Arcwalks/replies, please feel free to nudge me in a comment/post again. I got very behind while I wasn’t feeling well, so that will help me find my way back to it.

Who May Feel This Ingress the Most

  • Gemini rising often feels this first. Venus enters your 1st house, so the shift can register through the your personal style and the way others respond to your presence.
  • Taurus and Libra rising can also feel this strongly, since Venus rules your chart. Taurus rising meets this through the 2nd house of value and resources. Libra rising meets this through the 9th house of learning and belief.
  • Taurus and Libra profection years may register this more quickly, since Venus becomes more active in the yearly story.
  • People with early mutable planets or angles may notice this right away. Venus moving through early Gemini activates Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces by conjunction, square, or opposition.
  • People with natal Gemini placements, a strong Mercury signature, or a prominent Venus may also feel this quickly. Gemini gives Venus a more verbal expression, so connection may move through more language, messages, questions, and small exchanges.

Venus enters Gemini

April 24 at 4:04 AM - May 19, 2026 at 1:06 AM

Venus enters Gemini after a fresh conjunction with Uranus at the end of Taurus, so this ingress begins with a spark already behind it. Then Venus moves into Gemini, and that change starts looking for language. What was awakened in the body or material life may now become a conversation, a message, a question, or a new social thread.

Venus is peregrine in Gemini, so she enters Mercury’s sign as a guest. She can still connect, attract, sweeten, and create pleasure, while the tools she uses come through Mercury: words, questions, movement, humor, messages, and exchange. That makes Mercury’s condition important for this whole ingress. Venus may want connection, while Mercury describes the road she has to travel to find it.

At the start of the ingress, Mercury is in Aries with Mars, Saturn, and Neptune. Mercury is answering to Mars here, so Venus in Gemini begins under a hotter and more direct Mercurial field. This can make the early part of the ingress mentally active and sharper in speech. Venus may be trying to connect through conversation, while Mercury in Aries moves through reaction and the need to say the thing plainly.

On May 3, Mercury enters Taurus and begins a mutual reception with Venus in Gemini. This is one of the main turns in the ingress. Venus is in Mercury’s sign, while Mercury is in Venus’ sign, so the Taurus and Gemini houses in your chart begin communicating with each other. These houses sit semi-sextile, so the connection can feel subtle, like one room speaking through the wall to the next. One house may show where something is being named, while the other shows where something is being valued or made tangible.

This mutual reception lasts until May 17, when Mercury enters Gemini. Venus begins answering to a ruler in its own sign. Venus is still peregrine, while Mercury now disposes itself and has more strength in its own terrain. That can make the final stretch of Venus in Gemini feel clearer, quicker, and easier to articulate. The same day, Venus sextiles Chiron, which brings a gentler opening around old sensitivities connected to being received. In Gemini, that healing may arrive through the right words at the right time.

By the end of the ingress, Venus is preparing to enter Cancer around the same time Mars enters Taurus. That changes the larger field again. Venus leaves Mercury’s air and begins answering to the Moon, while Mars leaves its own Aries heat and enters Venus’ sign. This opens the field toward a more lunar, bodily, protective, and responsive rhythm. After a Venus-in-Gemini stretch full of words, questions, messages, and social movement, the feeling underneath the conversation begins asking to be held too.

Dignity

Venus enters Gemini in peregrine condition, so she does not hold essential dignity by sign here. Gemini belongs to Mercury, so Venus is a guest here rather than a ruler. She can still function, connect, attract, and create pleasure, but she does it through Mercury’s terrain: words, questions, movement, jokes, messages, and exchange.

  • Venus holds planetary joy in the 5th house.
  • Venus is more at ease when the Sun is below the horizon.
  • Venus does not rule a decan in Gemini.
  • Ptolemaic bounds: 12-16°
  • Chaldean bounds:  26-30°
  • Egyptian bounds: 14-20°

Dates to watch: Venus will be in bounds from May 4 - 10 and May 15 - 19

Major Aspects

Apr 26 at 5:42 PM - Venus sextile Neptune
Venus meets Neptune through a sextile soon after entering Gemini, softening the way connection moves through words. This can bring a more imaginative tone to conversation and affection. Since Venus is in Mercury’s sign, this may show up through messages, music, poetry, or a more intuitive pull toward what feels beautiful.

Apr 28 at 4:39 PM - Venus trine Pluto
Venus trines Pluto here, giving this ingress a deeper current beneath the lightness of Gemini. Connection may feel more magnetic and emotionally charged. This can bring honesty into relational exchanges, especially where desire or trust wants to move past the surface.

Apr 29 at 1:04 AM - Venus square Node
Venus squares the Node, bringing a small crossroads around connection and desire. Something relational or creative may feel more meaningful than expected. This can point toward a choice about what to keep reaching for or which social threads are pulling the heart in a new direction.

May 1 at 6:45 PM - Venus sextile Saturn
Venus makes a sextile to Saturn, giving the Gemini Venus story more structure. This can help stabilize conversations or clarify commitments. After the earlier Neptune and Pluto contacts, Saturn may bring a steadier place to land.

May 17 at 6:03 PM - Venus sextile Chiron
Venus sextiles Chiron near the end of the ingress, bringing a gentler opening around connection and tenderness. This can support honest conversation around old sensitivities, especially where love or worth has felt complicated. In Gemini, this may come through the right words arriving at the right time.

The Archetype

Venus represents the principle of attraction. She governs the part of us that reaches toward what feels worth loving. Venus shows how connection forms and how life becomes more livable through affection. She is the soft magnet of the chart, the principle that says this is what I want near me, and this is what makes life feel more beautiful.

In Gemini, Venus takes on a more verbal and curious form. This is the version of Venus that wants to connect through conversation, humor, messages, questions, and shared ideas. Attraction may begin with interest. Affection may move through language. Beauty may be found in wit, cleverness, variety, or the quick little spark that happens when two minds meet in the same room.

This is why Venus in Gemini can feel bright and mobile. It is the flirty message, the song lyric sent at the right time, the inside joke that becomes a bridge, the conversation that opens one door and then another. Mythologically, this is Venus walking through Mercury’s air, where love grows wings and pleasure learns to speak. Gemini gives Venus the urge to move between people, ideas, and possibilities.

When this archetype is flowing well, it can bring charm, social ease, curiosity, and a lighter way of reaching for connection. When it becomes scattered, it can chase the spark and lose interest before something has time to deepen. The work of this transit is learning how to let connection stay alive through language, while still listening for what the heart is actually trying to say.

Walking with Venus in Gemini

  • Rules my 3rd (Libra) and 10th (Taurus) houses
  • Opposes my 5th house Sagittarius Venus
  • Squares my 2nd house Virgo Moon and Jupiter
  • Trines my 6th house Aquarius Sun, 7th house Saturn, and my Libra IC

I looked back over my journal since Venus entered Taurus on March 30th, and two major beginnings stand out. I started waking the subreddit back up, and I started a new medication called clonidine. Since Venus rules my 3rd and 10th houses, this feels fitting: the 3rd house connects to writing, replies, daily communication, the way I move between people, which the clonidine made easier, while the 10th house connects to visibility and the public role I am building through astrology. Both of those Venus-ruled areas started coming back online during this transit.

The clonidine has made my stress levels much easier to manage. It feels amazing to experience my body with lower blood pressure, because the physical settling gives me more room to interact without getting swallowed by stress. That opened the door for more replies and more connection with people on my subreddit.

Across the month, I can see the effort slowly ramping up. Venus in Taurus felt like rebuilding the ground under me, getting the systems back in place, tending the subreddit again, and learning how to stay with people more steadily. Now that Venus has entered Gemini, it feels like the whole dam has burst open. The connection field is suddenly louder and way more alive.

It also helps that Mars is the final dispositor of the whole chart right now. Since I have a natal Mars-North Node conjunction, that gives my Mars a stronger channel and lets it speak with more force. It doesn't have to share the mic in the same way, and I can feel that in my energy: today I replied to 14 people, which is crazy compared to my usual max of 2-4. It makes me feel like I am actually getting stronger at holding the social field. I can't wait for the Uranus ingress!!

What are you noticing?

  1. How has Venus in Taurus been going for you so far?
  2. What house has Venus been moving through in your chart, and what have you noticed since she entered Taurus on March 30th?
  3. Have these last few days felt different at all as Venus moved through the final degrees of Taurus and into Gemini?
  4. Or feel free to share anything you’ve been noticing, feeling, building, enjoying, craving, or reflecting on during this transit.

What this series is

This series follows a planetary pair through the full 1 to 8 Arc of their cycle, beginning at the conjunction and continuing through each major turning point until the next conjunction begins again. I’m using this format to track how the relationship between these two planets develops over time, so each check-in marks one phase in a larger unfolding story.

How the Arc works

One of the easiest ways to understand this series is by borrowing the same phase logic people already know from the Sun and Moon.

In the lunation cycle, the Sun holds the slower base while the Moon moves faster through each phase point:

  • Conjunction - New (Moon)
  • Octile - Crescent/Balsamic
  • Square - First/Last Quarter
  • Tri-octile - Gibbous
  • Opposition - Full (Moon)

You can apply that same structure to any planetary pair. The slower planet holds the base of the cycle, and the faster planet carries the relationship forward through each stage. The octile and tri-octile matter because they mark sharper turning points inside the larger arc, while the conjunction and opposition act like the two main anchors and the squares bring stronger external pressure.

Today's Aspect(s)

This check-in follows a three-planet conjunction cluster in Aries, unfolding through three exact contacts across April 19 to 20:

Mars conjunct Saturn at Aries 7°51′
Apr 19, 2026, 10:43 PM

Mercury conjunct Saturn at Aries 7°55′
Apr 20, 2026, 11:21 AM

Mercury conjunct Mars at Aries 8°36′
Apr 20, 2026, 9:44 PM

The conjunction is unfolding through three linked contacts instead of one, creating a layered Arc 1 rather than a simple two-planet opening. Saturn acts as the base planet to both Mars and Mercury, while Mars also acts as the base planet to Mercury. Mercury is the faster planet to both, so it becomes the moving trigger across the whole configuration.

That creates three cycles unfolding at once: Saturn-Mars, Saturn-Mercury, and Mars-Mercury. Saturn holds the deepest background field, Mars sits in the middle as both receiver and base, and Mercury carries the fastest activation through the whole conjunction.

What this means

When these planets meet, this can show up as a moment where pressure pushes straight into action and words become part of the ignition. Saturn can bring the sense that something has reached a serious point. Mars adds heat, irritation, drive, and the urge to do something now. Mercury brings the fast mental activity that carries everything forward.

In Aries, this can manifest as blunt conversations, sharp decisions, arguments that surface quickly, a sudden need to respond, or a plan getting forced into motion before anyone feels fully ready. Because this conjunction comes through three linked contacts, the experience may unfold in steps. First the pressure lands, then the reaction rises, then the message, choice, or action moves through. This is Arc 1, so the emphasis is on the beginning of a new pattern, especially one that starts through urgency or direct contact.

Who may feel this the most

  • Aries rising may feel this conjunction cluster first. The whole sequence lands in your 1st house, so the pressure can register through the body, your pace, your reactions, and the way you meet the world. This can feel like a moment where something in you wants to move, speak, or act before it has fully settled.
  • Capricorn rising may also feel this strongly, since Mars and Saturn both report back to your chart through Aries in the 4th house. That can bring the pressure inward to the private spaces where decisions build before they become visible.
  • Gemini rising and Virgo rising may register this cluster quickly because Mercury is part of the conjunction and also rules your chart. For Gemini rising, this lands in the 11th house and can move through the wider future field around your life. For Virgo rising, this lands in the 8th house and can stir deeper material around vulnerability or the thoughts that keep working under the surface.
  • People with natal planets or angles in the early degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn may also feel this right away. This conjunction cluster activates those placements through conjunction, square, or opposition.
  • People with a strong natal connection to Mercury, Mars, or Saturn may also pick this up quickly, especially if those planets sit in Aries or aspect personal planets closely. The same can be true for people in Aries, Capricorn, Gemini or Virgo profection years, since this cluster may already be woven more directly into the year’s focus.

Taurus Rising - 12th House
The cluster opens in your 12th house, so the first pressure may build behind the scenes. Thoughts can speed up in private, with frustration forming inwardly before it becomes visible.

Gemini Rising - 11th House
This conjunction cluster begins in your 11th house through plans and the future you are trying to shape. Conversations around direction may sharpen now, especially where commitment starts needing a clearer answer.

Cancer Rising - 10th House
The opening lands in your 10th house and brings the conjunction into career and public movement. A decision may need to be made around direction or the next step others can already see approaching.

Leo Rising - 9th House
This cluster begins in your 9th house and can press on belief or the larger path you are trying to follow. You may feel pushed to name what you stand for or act on a truth that has been taking shape.

Virgo Rising - 8th House
The conjunction opens in your 8th house, where pressure can move through vulnerability or shared conditions. Thoughts may turn toward what feels urgent underneath the surface, especially where emotional intensity has been waiting for language.

Scorpio Rising - 6th House
The cluster begins in your 6th house and brings the pressure into work and daily rhythm. This can feel like a stretch where timing matters more or the body asks for a different way of handling stress.

Sagittarius Rising - 5th House
This opening lands in your 5th house through desire and expression. Creative heat can rise here, though it may come with pressure to act before you feel fully ready.

Capricorn Rising - 4th House
The conjunction cluster begins in your 4th house and brings the opening into home and your private foundation. Something may be building in the inner life now that wants a decision or a direct response.

Aquarius Rising - 3rd House
This cluster begins in your 3rd house, where thought and speech become the opening field. Words may come faster now, and conversations may carry more pressure or consequence than usual.

Pisces Rising - 2nd House
The opening lands in your 2nd house through self-worth and resources. A decision around effort or personal value may start pressing for movement, especially where something can no longer stay vague.

Walking with Merc-Mars-Saturn

Walking with this conjunction, I felt how fast a word can become a live wire. A conversation with my dad turned tense over the meaning of “hypocrisy,” and what started as a pause in the show became a much larger clash around who gets to define what a word means. With this conjunction happening in my 9th house, I noticed the pressure landed through language, then opened into a conflict around interpretation and the belief underneath the definition. That felt very Mercury-Mars-Saturn in Aries to me: language under pressure, the urge to press a point through, the hard stop when the other person no longer wants to engage. The heat of the moment was about the feeling that language can reveal something hidden, while silence can shut that process down before it reaches resolution.

Later that night, after I left, I drove home and crested a hill to the largest crescent moon I had seen in a long time. It was huge and earthy yellow, almost unreal for a second, and it stunned me right out of the argument and into symbol. That also felt tied to the 9th house side of the conjunction for me. The sky answered with something immense enough to hold the feeling inside an image. It turned the whole experience from argument into omen.

Transit Venus was conjunct my dad’s Mars in his 10th house Taurus and opposing his natal Mercury in the 4th house Scorpio. The Moon in Gemini was trining my natal Saturn in Aquarius in the 7th, which is a symbol I often associate with my dad, so his presence felt written all through the moment. Venus applying to Uranus added more instability and made the emotional tone harder to settle. On top of that, Juno and Pluto were conjunct in Aquarius exactly on my Descendant, so the whole experience felt charged through the deeper bond pattern underneath the argument.

What are you noticing?

  1. How has this conjunction cluster been going for you so far?
  2. What house has it been moving through in your chart, and what have you noticed since these planets met in Aries on April 19th to 20th?
  3. Did one of the three conjunctions feel louder than the others for you?
  4. Or feel free to just share anything you’ve noticed or been reflecting on during this transit.
