Never saw one of these that includes metro areas so I wanted to make one. I made this before these maps started blowing up on Reddit but didn't think to post.

Roughly grouped the lower 48 into 8 color groups:

Blue for the Northeast

Red for the South

Pink for Florida

Dark orange for Texas

Yellow-orange for the Southwest

Brown for the Midwest

Green for the West (Mormon is purple since I felt that it really was it's own thing)

Teal for the Northwest

I would love feedback! I'm opening to making new regions, getting rid of regions, changing boundaries, and adding new crossover regions. I'll take any suggestions and make an updated version.
