Best 250 bucks I've spent on earbuds. Shure aonic 215

This isn't a paid advertisement just a guy who had an amazing experience with these things

PROS:

-(battery life) After a good 2-3 years of using them at least 10 hrs daily or more the battery is still keeping up not sure how long they last now with constant music playing but with the ambient sound active and 1-2 hours of phone calls and music at max volume they will last a good 8-9 hours out of the case. The case lasts now about 5-7 days. When I first got them it lasted about 2 weeks.

-(durability) I beat the ever living hell out of earbuds working in construction and these things have stood the test of time. Working with sawdust fiberglass and occasionally in the rain. They still work.

-(ambient sound)Shure makes manly 2 things and they make them extremely well microphones and iems the ambient sound on these things is incredible some days I would forget I have one in till someone called me. By far the best I've ever tried.

-(customization) If you want to upgrade your earbuds, use a wired connection or maybe something broke you can easily replace parts on these. The earbuds can separate from the Bluetooth part to make a wired connection. Along with the app that updates the earbuds has a built in equalizer that can be manually adjusted or you could use one of the presets that the app has. Also you can customize the button on each earbuds to do a specific task. There are 3 slots for each earbud 1,2, and 3 clicks along with different settings for when you are on a call.

-(Sound quality) the sound on these are incredibly clear I don't have a chart to go off of but I would say they are very competitive with whatever generation Airpod Pros were out 3 years ago

-(secure fit) I have never had these things fall out of my ear in the 3 years of having them while working construction. Also, if you are trying to have a conversation with someone you can take the earbud itself out and let it hang on your ear. I think the ambient sound was good enough to leave it in my ear. However if you are in a really loud area the conversation can get lost in all the noise.

CONS:

-(case size) The case can't be pocketed comfortably unless you have cargo pants with a lower pocket. Its like having your grandfather's wallet that's 2 inches thick in your pocket. It has a loop for a carabiner that you could use but mine started to tear so I stopped using it.

-when listening to "Ain't no rest for the wicked" by cage the elephant I noticed there are certain frequencies that only play out of 1 of the 2 earbuds. Vocals come out of both though. I think they separate the sound so you can hear specific sounds better but I'm not sure. Not ideal for watching movies but doable. If you wear both its not really a problem.

-(Bass and volume) these are not insanity loud like some of the bose and beats that I've tried but all of the other sounds are a lot more clear. There are definitely louder options out there.

-(comfortably) After 3 years of use I personally don't have a problem but when I first got these I noticed they pinch the back of your ear abit which can get irritating because the earbud sits in your ear and goes up and wraps around to the back of your ear. Not sure if mine have loosened a little with time or I have gotten used to it.

-lacks modern features that some of the newer earbuds have like active noise canceling which doesn't bother me with the foam tips they have. But I have noticed active noise canceling is amazing for airplanes.

SUMMERY:

There is a reason musicians use shure earbuds when they are performing. Sound quality and durability on these are great. I've had in the past the original air pods, 2 generations of the air pod pros, galaxy buds 3 pro, sony wf-1000xm3, and beats studio buds+. Not one of these earbuds lasted except for the shures and none of these had better sound quality. I'd like to hear someone else's take on this and if there is a better earbud out there that could work for me. Lmk.
