Hello all! We're firming up our Norway trip in July/August. We're beginning up in Lofoten, then dropping down to Stavanger and driving up through Odda, Voss, and to Bergen, and ending in Oslo. I'd love to hear any:

1. Your favorite foods/restaurants in these towns, particularly in the small towns of Lofoten (Å, Reine, and Leknes), Odda, and Voss.

2. Advice on restaurants. When we went to Scotland last year we were surprised that most small towns expected you to have a reservation at a restaurant. Do Norwegian restaurants expect/prefer reservations? What time of night do Norwegian's typically go out to dinner (thinking maybe we can squeeze in if we're going earlier/later than the popular meal time)? Any insight would be much appreciated.
