Unconventional but the cheap pack I usually see recommended is a talentcell, that arent sold where I live and if I were to import them they'd be the same price as d tap or np batteries

given that I can't find a consumer phone power bank with a barrel connector output, I found these mini uninterruptible power supply for routers already being sold domestically, that can output up to 12v 1.5a or 9v 2a

is there something I'm missing or would these be totally fine to use?

More a question of technique maybe but regardless

In film school we were setup with zoom h6's where there was no routing for monitoring or the line output - everything was just kinda in stereo. But now that I'm using more prosumer kit recently and I have to actively think about routing, is there an objective type of routing or is just really a taste thing?

so far I've been doing

For me monitoring

-lavs on one ear

-boom on the other

For the boom op

- just the boom

For the camera or director

- just the boom

is there something I'm missing?
