Always seems odd to me, I just stick my new one on top of my old one or peel off the old one. Here I see stickers on all corners of the plate
Freshwater gunite pool in FL. I test my pool 2x a week and need to add acid every time. For reference, I tested yesterday and added acid to get within range. Tested again today and pH was back up to 8.0. Chlorine is at 4.8 and alkalinity is at 90. CYA is at 60. We have two return jets that are aerated/bubbling that I am going to plug the air intake on, but what else can I do other than going through gallons and gallons of acid every month?
Bought a house with a pool that has two 1” pipes that force air into the return jets. I’m constantly fighting high pH and I think this may be a culprit
