Hiring in at L2 and moving to L3
I am applying for jobs, and they are scarce in my field (QMS / Audit / Huntsville). I have a bachelor’s, 7 years of direct experience (Northrop), and 6 years of indirect experience(apparel manufacturing). I think I am a solid level 3.
My questions are:
Will they offer me an L2 role if I am overqualified?
How difficult is it to move up from L2 to L3 after hire? Is it easily done during annual reviews if the criteria are met? Do I have to wait for an L3 role to be posted and apply for it?
