Waking up early during Golden Week was so serene

After so many warnings not to visit during this time of year, I’m so glad I ignored them. :) these were taken April 30-May 4th. First time in Japan (now I’m in Tokyo) and I absolutely fell in love with Kyoto!!!

VP Trip Report 5/7-5/8

May 7, 2026 - May 8, 2026 2 Day Unlimited Attractions VP RECAP! I monitored posted standby times as well as the time we entered the queue to the time we were physically loading onto the ride. This trip was myself and my husband.

I’ll spoil the ending and say the Vacation Package was MORE than worth it. We did everything we wanted to do and are back at our hotel in Shinjuku by 6pm on our second Disney day (today) because we - again - finished everything we wanted to with plenty of time to spare. Not only was being able to re-ride the rides we enjoyed most super fun, we saved more time than I thought possible with the unlimited priority access passes. We had the most incredible time. The parks are clean, staff is friendly, all of the rides work and the timing is so good on all of them. The PEOPLE (as in parkgoers) are so patient and respectful. We didn’t have any line cutter experiences, noticed way fewer strollers, and the pre-show rooms were quiet and largely phone free which was incredible. Also, as a California Disneyland/DCA regular I was blown away by how much longer these rides felt.

Stayed in Fantasy Springs Hotel, picked up the VP and dropped off luggage at hotel around 7:30am on 5/7.

Please feel free to ask me any questions! I like to think I’m experienced with Disney in general (passholder in CA, multiple trips to WDW in Florida and once to Paris). However, this was my first time visiting Japan so I planned for close to 10 months.
