End of Security Updates Playn?

What's everyone planning to do when security updates run out later this year? I'm on a 6 Pro since it was released, previous phone was a Pixel 2 XL. Phone is working fine, battery sits at 89% health using the batt.io Coulomb charge method, a couple minor display issues from drops, but it does what I need it to.

My only real gripe with the phone is the cellular modem, my wife has had a 6a and 9a since I had this and both get better signal.

I'm not really interested in tinkering with ROMs. I'm leaning towards moving on to a 9 or 10 Pro XL.

TLDR; Are you keeping your phone on stock OS or a ROM, or moving on to something newer when Google cuts us off?
