The hate for Windows just because it isn't Linux is pretty stupid.

A lot of people dislike Windows simply because it's not Linux. They are fundamentally different operating systems designed for different use cases. Windows caters to a broad range of users, something Linux likely won't match due to its decentralization, which is great for niche users but problematic for general Linux users. I switched to Linux about a year ago due to my university's curriculum, which included OS development using Linux. Since then, I appreciated Linux for the control it offers; you can do almost anything. I loved it. However, I returned to Windows about a month ago because I'm working on ML projects, and Nvidia GPUs are essential, and Windows makes it easier.

Now that I'm back on Windows, I still use the terminal for almost everything. After learning PowerShell, I find Windows offers the same usability as Linux. I recently discovered Winget, and I'm impressed. The stability, power, Terminal app, and Winget are amazing. I'm not saying Linux is bad; I just don't see myself going back.
