i had a consultation and my doctor told me i was a candidate for femtolasik/smile
my prescriptions are -8 and -5,5 (my dominant eye ) i have very mild dryness because of contact leses usage and screen exposure my doctor told me it was fine to to the surgery regardless, the only advice he gave me is to not do it because of an upcoming exam i was having because mental fatigue doesn't help the healing process especially on first year post op, but since i'm not even ready for that said exam i was thinking of maybe post poning it to next year to let my eyes fully heal, the only issue i'm worried about is dry eyes since i'm reading a lot of people dealing with it i'm ready to deal with it if it were to happen for six months but i'm really scared it would be permanent, also i have been offered a job abroad which kinda pressure me to do the surgery in my hometown while i'm not working at a doctor with a really good reputation he was the one who operated both my parents and all of my aunts and uncles, so it's kind of a now or never kinda situation. i have also stopped wearing my contacts for a couple of weeks now to reduce my dryness and it really make me realize how inconvenient it is to have them on which motivate me evem more to do the surgery
should i go for smile or femtolasik which one offers better results
