Sophia vs Study.com and degree pathway help

Hey so after considering both Sophia and study.com, I'm leaning more towards study.com since I prioritise in-depth learning over accelerated learning. I have a couple of questions that I'd really appreciate answers to since caught in a bind without them.

  1. I've heard study.com courses are more in depth. Is that true?

  2. How many and which courses are directly transferable for BSC on the college starter plan?

  3. For Sophia, there's a $20 referr@l credit for every time someone joins using your referr@l code. Is there something similar for study.com?

  4. With Sophia, you get 20 course transfers for free. Is there a similar free course transfer program for study.com? And if there is, how many courses can be transferred for free?

Once I finalise the platform, I need help with structuring and deciding my degree pathway. Are there any restrictions on which courses I can transfer and which course I NEED to take with the university? I know 1 can transfer 30 courses but are there any non-transferable courses? I'd be super grateful if I can have a 1:1 with someone who has been through this process.

So in my last post everyone recommended to do courses first and then transfer for accelerated learning and to save up some money. Now my question is, which of the platform is better? Sophia learning or study.com? They both seem to be partners with UoPeople but I keep hearing about Sophia learning more.

I saw a blog on study.com site comparing the two together, and study.com seemed like a better option. For Sophia learning, they mentioned you need to wait around a week to get results for a course, and until it is out, you can't move on to the next course. Is that true?

Can y’all help me out with picking the right platform? TYSMIA!

(Edit: for context I’ve been accepted for Bachelor’s in CS and wish to do 75% of my degree on one of the platforms and then do a transfer)

Hey everyone. I’m currently looking at options to do my bachelor’s and honestly I can’t afford a fancy or even a cheap university so this university seems like a pretty good option for me. I also work full-time so doing this alongside would be easier compared to a typical degree.

Thing is, I am 22 years old and I really want to finish my degree in 2 years so I can pursue a graduate program as well as get a job relevant to my degree. I wanna know if anyone has completed the bachelor’s in 2 years from this university. Because I see it has 5 terms in a year and if they let you take consecutive terms you might be able to finish it way faster than 4 years.

I also want to know how accommodating they are with the scholarships. I have low income and bad grades in high-school; Do you think they would grant/help me?

Any insights on these would help alot. TYIA!!
