Hi everyone, here’s the weekly thread on Tasacak Bu Deniz where you can share anything related to the series whether it was yesterdays episode, theories on the season finale and the next season, or if you just want to express your feelings on anyone in the series.

Yesterday’s episode of TBD was the most emotionally charged one yet. Eleni’s kidnapping, the pure evil we saw from multiple characters such as Sirin and even Zarife, Adil finding out Eleni is his daughter; I have never felt my heartbeat faster while getting goosebumps and numb legs at the same time from how emotionally charged this episode was. I have to congratulate the cast for their incredible performance because honestly, for 2 hours, I forgot it was fiction. I cried and felt all the feelings such as Eleni’s helplessness when kidnapped in that room alone just waiting for when she would get out, Esme being tortured by her hallucinations, the exchange which I knew was going to go wrong, Adils terrifying screams, etc. Honestly I was not in the right headspace after watching that episode. I got up like a zombie afterwards, not knowing or feeling anything but the emotions of that episode. This is the best Turkish series I have ever watched and trust me I’ve watched plenty.

So after I’ve recovered from what I call post-TBD syndrome, I’ll share my thoughts on EVERYTHING, yes everything that I can think of that relates to the episode, the season finale, season 2, and other theories about what’s going to happen now that Adil knows Eleni is his daughter.

Yesterdays episode:

• Sirin is absolutely disgusting and she should be punished the same punishment as her useless son. Because shes the real culprit, the real barrier to peace. Had she let Adil deal with Serif accordingly, peace would be possible. But shes the one who saves Serif every time, making peace impossible. I loved how Eleni clocked her and told her off about how she’s just a selfish hag, etc.

• That ginger witch H*cran also needs to be spared no mercy. Also are people seriously still shipping her and Gezep?!?!? I mentioned how disgusting this was a while ago, yet people still don’t want to understand that shes a CRIMINAL. I actually saw fans or should I say mentally ill individuals that were upset at Feride and Gezep being together in front of Hicran. PEOPLE WAKE UP!! Hicran is basically the devils daughter who sold Eleni and snitched on Esme, and tried to hurt Eleni when she came to Trabzon, and now helped Serif to try to take out Adil omg I’m so done with the crazies who still want her around I will PARTY when she’s gone

• Zarife… trying to get rid of Adil huh? Saying that if any Kocari stays alive is a threat huh? What was she going to do after Adil? Take out Fadime, her son’s wife? Anything but to be held accountable for your crimes smh. And does she think that when Oruç and Iso find out (hopefully they do!!) that she tried to get rid of Adil, that they’ll ever look at her again? This woman needs to be punished as well, for her crimes she committed 20 years ago and for trying to get rid of Adil, the pure evilness was so difficult to watch

• Eleni you’re a very smart girl! You should’ve known at that moment when that questioned the old hag about what you are to Adil, that you’re his daughter! Put two and two together girl!!!! But God I felt for that girl, and now they’ve kidnapped her once again. But from that ad we saw for next week, her face looks very angry and it honestly scared me. She will not let go of this easily. I felt for that girl, I cried with her when she was locked up, she came to Trabzon as one girl and is now a completely different one. Her sin? Being the daughter of Adil Kocari :’(.

• Now I’m the biggest IsFad lover and defender but guys the proposal scene was just in bad taste I’m sorry. Like the tensions are at an all time high with Eleni being kidnapped, the secret slowly coming to light, no one is in the right headspace, and that’s when Iso decides to propose? I mean read the room! The proposal was very sweet don’t get me wrong and I was very happy for them as I always am, but the timing was wrong. And especially them going to Adil and asking for his blessing and if they can get married officially as he’s on his way out to look for Eleni, it was just not the right time. But this strange timing makes me believe that they’re trying to get the wedding to happen in the season finale so they can drop a huge bombshell or make something crazy happen in that wedding which I’ll share my theories about in the upcoming sections…

• Behcet and all the other Furtuna men who blindly worship Serif GO TO HELLLLL!!!! Wouldn’t be mad if Adil took all of them out. Hope he does.

• Oruç reissssss ate in this episode especially as he told his grandma off in that phone call like YESSIR!!! And him protecting iso, making sure that Adils wrath doesn’t affect him was so sweet. Has anyone else noticed that they’re trying to show us the brotherhood and love between iso and Oruç a lot recently, especially with Oruç being protective of Iso? Makes you think that this has something to do with Fatihs upcoming arrival.

• Ilve girl pray for mercy because Adils wrath is immense and hes probably going to come after you first after the furtunas.

Overall a very crazy episode. The acting was insane.

Season Finale:

Well the season finale is around the corner and my theories are strong!! So let me just brain dump what I think may happen!!!

• Fadime and Isos wedding will occur and something will happen to iso. There was just way too much foreshadowing that something will happen to Iso in yesterday’s episode and even before. The constant reminders that Isos the only innocent one, he needs to be protected, Zarife telling Fadime about what it feels like to lose a husband snd iso intervening saying she won’t lose her husband or her brother, Adil in the new ad saying we’ll hit them when or where they least expect it and if yall think about it they might sacrifice iso because he’s the only one that’s available to them as hes married into the family and hurting iso will hurt the rest of the family because everyone loves him since he’s innocent. Whew! Way too much stuff thst was said. Now what exactly will happen? I don’t know. One part of me says Fadime is going to leave him at the wedding altar to hurt him, another part of me says that she will leave him AND after that he will end up being shot…who will shoot him is the mystery, it could be Eyuphan (out of jealousy and spite since Adil didnt separate them), Serif (he finds out that Iso was lying to him the whole time and betrayed him) or Fatih (hes not going to be targeting iso maybe Adil or someone else but he hits Iso by accident and that’s how we get an intro to his character and who he is) and then were left on a cliff hanger. I don’t think iso will die because he’s important to the story especially with Fatihs arrival iso will be an even more critical character. But yeah something’s definitely going to happen to him I can smell it from here. But I swear to God if something happens to Iso, if they make him die or become evil or ruin his character, I will never watch Turkish tv again and that is an oath I’m willing to take. Because if they ruin the sweetest man in this series, there’s no point in this at all anymore.

• did anyone see the alleged actor for Fatih? He looks like a great actor for Faith!! I’ve seen him act in other projects and hes a good actor, his face looks like the evil older brother type, of that’s really him they did an excellent job in casting

Season 2:

As I already said we saw a lot of Oruç and Isos brotherhood being shown recently which makes me think that it’s related to Fatihs arrival next season. Oruç seems to hate Fatih with every fiber of his body but iso seems conflicted. We might see challenges in their relationships and hidden wounds resurface when Fatih comes back. I think a lot of Isos wounds are because of Fatih and his potential sudden departure when he was younger, maybe he looked up to him a lot and something happened.

By the way, do you guys think Esme and Adil will start calling her Aleyna instead of Eleni? Since Eleni is a name that is associated with her being sold and forced away from them?? Could Eleni decide to legally change her name? This would be an interesting topic!!!
