I engaged a firm to do the search and filing for a mark that has made it through. Now that I’m using it in commerce, I collected specimens to file my SOU. I’ve filed them myself in the past.

I work with a larger firm and I’d like to keep costs down. They are the correspondents on the file. What’s the etiquette on DIYing this? I anticipate needing some additional work from them next year. I’m paid up on my bills with them.
