We received some critique on our capsule art:

• The original was too busy.
• The text and overall elements compete for attention.
• The background character is too prominent.
• The middle dividing line is distracting

The goal with revision:

• Clarity, remove clutter.
• Maintain style.
• Eye following goal in order: 1. face - 2. text - 3. surrondings.

We made adjustments accordingly. Which version would you choose? Or would you change something else? Any opinions?

"It's 2023. February 05. Lia is a 37-year-old woman, working in a multinational company. She lives with her boyfriend Victor, their relationship is filled with toxicity and pain. This day is different, she meets someone, who changes her life forever. She've never seen him before, however this doesn't mean... this is the first time this happened. Now it's 2025. December 25. she is different, he is different. Something is wrong, it shouldn't be this way! She needs to fix the mistakes of the past."

• Fully Animated Backgrounds and Cutscenes - You can turn them off, by the way. ...so many hours to create them.
• Cinematic Experience - Just like a movie! ...but you can do so many things... so it's not really like a movie?
• All Character Models created from the ground up - They look cool! ...kind of weird saying this about real people.
• Hand-crafted stylised assets - So much red and black and stuff! ...emo is truly not dead!
• Licensed Music - Ongoing collaboration with music artists such as Summer Hailstorm! ...man, amazing music!

It's been 1 year since we started development, and we can finally show some results. The demo is soon to be released, so stay tuned! We are searching for beta testers, voice actors. And of course anyone willing to give us feedback - that’s the most important!
