HE’S HERE!! I’ve been so excited to get this guy a body since I got ahold of that token and after losing an auction by a hair for a Fungus, I immediately picked one up!
I have a brush ready for when we get Faerie Varwolves for real ofc but the Token is SO cute, so they look cute as is. I’m really glad this name wasn’t taken!
I’m someone who has played Neopets for a fairly long time, but whose experience has been a little isolated. I don’t have friends online or IRL who play, I get a little overwhelmed looking at the Neoboards and have been for a while- suffice to say I’ve been in my little corner the whole time.
Since I’ve been on this subreddit it’s been inter seeing people show off their Neopets and talk about them, but it brought up a thought- how do people see their pets?
I know a lot of people get tributes to people/pets they know, and some seem to be in it for the love of the art- but I wanna know what your dynamic is and why you gravitate to that dynamic!
To me my Neopets have always been OCs(FCs if we’re getting technical)- They’re fully separate from me, little guys with full lives and personalities interacting with each other and the world on their own terms. Some kind of Slice Of Life Fantasy cast, y’know?
I knew I wanted to do SOMETHING with him(Verily’s canonically trans, mostly because he started an Xweetok and I like those eyelashes on Xweetoks) and when the Woodland Varwolf came out I knew who had to get the honor of embodying it. He looks SO good!
Current lore holds that he’s a former assassin-turned-musician for my Evil Circus(taking from his first lore where he was a traveling assassin/mercenary).
I’m REALLY happy with how many NP items worked for him, my boy is all fancy….
