Figured out a way to bypass the Meta Business Verified 3-Day rule to change Instagram profile picture — wanted to share
I manage a Meta verified business account on Instagram. I had recently changed my profile picture, then was told that I couldn’t change it again for the next three days (!).
Support was no help and said that I could try unsubscribing from verification, but did not recommend that.
So if you’re in the same situation as me and want to change your profile picture after just changing it, do this:
Go to Meta business suite on a computer
Hover on the circle with your profile picture and the Instagram icon in “Home”
Click on “Edit Instagram”
You might have to click “verify account”
Click the pencil icon next to profile picture, and you should be able to update your profile
*note that I only changed the picture once (not going to test fate with Meta) so I can’t attest to how many times this works*
