Got a $500 forester and decided to make a truck out of it. Im planning on making a rack (blue masking tape) to help somewhat reinforce the back end a bit so it doesnt fold immediately.

I was also thinking of doing a full ladder rack that would offer more support but I like the look of this one better.

Also planning on welding the doors shut for added rigidity as well as a lot of body work to cap off the "top of the bedsides" just mainly looking for suggestions or other ideas on the rack itself right now. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

If anyone has suggestions on what they would do or what to change

"Up to 345 delivery vans would depart from the delivery warehouse at a rate of up to 72 vans per 20 minutes to facilitate a regulated traffic flow into the surrounding area. Approximately 8-10 hours after dispatch, delivery routes would be completed, and the vans would return to the station intermittently between 8:10 p.m. and 9:50 p.m."

"The Santa Maria Planning Commission is expected to make a final decision on a 588-job package delivery distribution center on Stowell Road at its May 6 meeting."

"If the project gets a thumbs up from the planning commission, there would be a 14-day appeal period. If the project is not challenged, the applicant could move to construction, which is expected start this spring in stages and last into summer of 2027."
