I’m flying AMS –> San José (Costa Rica) tomorrow on a KLM 777-200ER (approx. 10.5 hours). It’s a daytime flight, so not looking to sleep but rather work on my PC and Phone.

I’m 1.93m (6’4”) and I have two options right now, either stay at 40D (best economy seat according to many here since it's the first 3 people row) or upgrade to Premium Comfort for 230€.

Since I’ve read on here that this is arguably one of the best standard economy seats because it’s where the cabin tapers and the middle block drops from 4 to 3 seats, my question is whether it makes sense to take the upgrade offer.
