So I’m a bit confused and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

Earlier, I was using a Nothing Phone (1) with Spotify (non-lossless plan), paired with my Tangzu Wan’er IEMs through a DAC. The audio quality was actually really good.

Recently, I upgraded to a OnePlus Nord 5 and also switched to Spotify’s lossless plan. I’m still using the same IEMs and DAC, but somehow the sound quality feels worse than before.

I honestly expected an upgrade in sound, not a downgrade. It feels less clear and not as enjoyable as it used to be.

I’m not sure if this is due to the phone, Spotify settings, DAC compatibility, or something else entirely.

Has anyone faced something similar or knows what might be causing this?
