This image is based on this photograph I took. Added a color filter to the photo.

It is acrylic over gesso on 1/4” plexiglass. 54 x 36”
I use hand made plexi glass scrapers to apply the acrylic. It’s many layers and some parts have more activity then others. It took a really long time to figure out the hues to keep the dark blue an anchor.

I do not consider myself a painter!! I call myself a fabricator. This image which is part of a series just so happens to be paint. I work with wood mostly (and paint and stains)

Believe it or not this took at least 40 hours from beginning to end.

It is large and is meant to hang just a little higher than most images.

It’s never too late! I need 3 implants and wanted to straighten my teeth first since implants can’t move.
2 years post divorce- I have WAY more money now to spend on myself and my health so I’m doing it!

I had braces when I was 14-16 yo and this is a PSA to wear your retainer and it may be a forever thing!!

Can’t wait to see the outcome in 2 months as yall have shown a lot of movement in a short amount of time.
