I am looking to buy a battery hedge trimmer. We have a few bushes in front of our house and a row of privacy trees that are about 12 feet tall that I need to trim back each year. I do have 2 dewalt 60v 6ah batteries, and the 60v string trimmer and leaf blower.

However the EGO HT2601 is on sale with a battery for less than just the tool only on the dewalt. I am not sure if they are both built as well or if the dewalt is built better? I like the rotating handle on the EGO and the carbon fiber rail seems nice.

I ultimately want to get the one that will be most durable and last the longest.
