Science prep

Hi all!

Does anyone have any good recommendations on how to study for the science portion of the exam? I have never taken a college science course (they are included in my nursing program), but need to get my grade up! I need advice on where to even begin.

English + Science

I took my entrance exam today and scored a 58%, but I need a 60% to be accepted into the program. My breakdown was: 79.5% in Reading, 76.5% in Math, 29.5% in Science, and 51% in English and Language Usage.

I spent the past month focusing almost entirely on math because I struggled with it in high school, and I didn’t study the other subjects at all.

I’m wondering if anyone has seen significant score improvements after studying with Nurse Chuang. My program includes all of the prerequisite courses, so I haven’t taken any college-level science classes yet—which is partly why the required score is lower. Because of that, I’m feeling unsure about my ability to improve in science without more structured instruction.

Do you think it’s realistic for me to raise my overall score to at least a 60% by focusing more on the other subjects?
