I’m super nervous. Ngl, im having second thoughts. Is that just my nerves? I want it done but im so scared!
So I have to be at the surgical center tomorrow at Noon, my procedure is scheduled for 1. My procedure is being done by my OB/GYN and is being paid for by my insurance- she was able to get it covered because I basically have a blob of tissue towards the top of my left minors that is constantly tugged by my underwear and I’m also always kind of ‘stuck’ to my underwear- im not entirely sure if it’s just due to the blob, or because all of the tissue on the left side is slightly longer than the right. I need opinions on if you think I should stick to only having the blob (lol) removed, or do you think I should go all out and have the entirety of the discolored tissue removed from the left side? My predicament is- my right side is gorgeous- its tucked in and basically no discoloration at all- the discoloration is entirely on my left side along with the blob at the top. BUT- the discoloration on the left minor is on the VERY tip all along the edge. Do you think I should take a chance at having her remove the entire edge, or just have her remove the blob and just try to lighten the rest myself even though it would still be a little longer than the right side? Just trying to decide what to do, it would be nice to have them match and not have the sticking issue anymore, im just nervous to have an OB take off more than a little piece because who knows what could happen at that point. Although- even though she doesn’t typically practice aesthetics, she does do robotic surgery, not sure how much that factors into her skill. She also mentioned being conservative and touching up later- I just don’t know if that would entail another trip to the OR or not because she doesn’t have any of the equipment in her office as far as I know.
Thanks for the advice!!
If I decide to cancel my appointment with my current ob/gyn, how hard do you think it will be to get my health insurance to approve it again with a different OB?
My procedure is Monday at 1. I’m starting to get everything taken care of that I can- cleaning, laundry, as well as pick up supplies- pads, adult diaper for first days, Vaseline, ice packs, my toilet at home has a bidet so not sure if I still need a Peri bottle. Is there anything else I should get? Should I do lots of walking this weekend to help get my stress levels down or should I take it easy? Thanks in advance for the advice!
