I think I'm too bored with the monotonous routine at this point and looking to socialize a little.

I don't know if I should be sad or happy about it but I'm literally shocked.

For context:

My maamu is 27. 2 years older than me. And he liked this girl from last 4 years or even more. She is educated and has a bachelor degree from IIUI.

Whereas, on the other hand my maamu is a harworking man and due to financial issues couldn't continue his studies after grade 11.

My maamu waited for 4 years for this girl so she could complete her studies and he could build a seperate home for her as per her demand. She made us wait 4 years to send a proper rishta even though my mother wanted to visit her home long ago. But she kept listening to mamu ji.

That girl literally at my maamu up. She used to get expensive gifts, rides and whatnot to stay happy in the relationship. She dragged the relationship, avoided calls, texts and only messaged on Eid and other occasions never replied back to him properly.

Recently, my mother visited their place few months ago and they are middle class people who are doing okay. But, the worst part is when the girl's family visited my mamu's place, my mother and khaala cleaned the entire house and even the muhalla streets on front, bought so many bakery items and cooked food in a short period of time to please her family, because yes we wanted that girl as our MAAMI cuz our maamu is amazing person.....but SHE LITERALLY SENT A VOICE NOTE to my mother after the visit, saying how bad the place smelled and how bad the environment was for her, the streets were narrow and far away from city and she is not into it anymore. And she sent a complete 5 mins voice note.

Upon that my mother gave a SAVAGE REPLY:

TU MERA BETA KON SI BAHRIA TOWN main rehti hai🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and blocked her right away! 🤡

Looking at how things are turning out be economically, GenZ is making right choice for not having kids or getting married. Keep going I would say.

Pakistan needs Extinction at this point.

The population rate is full time high, not dropping.

Education system is hell expensive with no job market or security.

No assets or ownership of anything.

No savings.
