Herman Miller Eames Fiberglass Shell Chairs – Elephant Hide Gray (DSX)

I recently acquired 7 of these chairs in Tulsa, OK. After some research they seem higher value than what I originally assumed. I’d like to sell them but I’m not in a rush, planning to gently clean them up, replace the glides, and use them as dining chairs for now! I am struggling to find these exact versions online to get a realistic expectation about listing price, as the ones I’m seeing either have replacement or non-stacking bases, have stacking bases but with the linking lips/ganging clips, or are in different colors than these. Can anyone with more expertise than me weigh in on how much I should consider selling them for, individually or as a set? Since I’m not in a hurry I don’t mind waiting for the right buyer. I’d also rather sell as a full set, but would be open to breaking them up in subsets of 4 & 3, 2 & 5, or as 6 & 1. I also know I could likely get more of a top dollar value selling in bigger markets, but I’m reluctant to ship them so I’m not sure using sites like 1st dibs or Chairsh is right for me. Any and all advice appreciated! More details about the chairs from what I know and could find:

Original Herman Miller labels with patent numbers

Early rope-edge shells

DSX stacking bases (no lip or ganging clips) “side chairs”

Late 50s/early 60s fiberglass in Elephant Hide Gray

These were kept in someone’s garage since the 70s, and don’t appear to have had any replacements or replica parts. The shells are in excellent condition, no fading or discoloration, even the shockmounts look to be in great shape— still black and no cracking or wear. Some glides are still intact, but many are missing or broken and would need to be replaced.
