I just got a new to me john deere 960m. With my old 737, I could raise and lower the deck while the blades were engaged. More importantly, I could flutter the deck with the kick pedal when going over stones or iffy spots. The new mower kills the blades for trying to adjust the deck height unlessthe mower is in park.

Is their a way to disable this safety feature? I got very used to being able to adjust the deck as im mowing and disengaging the blades, putting it in park, changing height, disengage brake, and reengage blades is a chore 😭
