Hello! I’m looking for someone to take over the lease for my 3-bedroom, two-bathroom in Long Island City. I loved this apartment and the neighborhood, lived there for 2.5 years, but recently bought a condo a few blocks south with my partner - hence the lease takeover.

21-48 45th Avenue located along a landmarked street of Victorian brownstones, which is unique for this area of Long Island City.

Apartment 1L is a duplex. The top floor features:

  • 13ft ceilings (seriously - really high, a game changer)
  • Light-filled dining area
  • King-size bedroom with ample room for additional furniture
  • Full bathroom
  • Bosch and Samsung appliances (never gave us any issues)
  • Decorative fireplace (we kept candles in there for ~ambiance~)

Last but not least is also a private backyard perfect for summer barbecues. Both floors have an exit into the yard. Each room has a separate remote-controlled air conditioner and there is plenty of closet space. The apartment is wired for both Verizon FioS and Spectrum. The neighbors are very friendly, the landlords are reasonable, and the super is responsive.

The location is in a quiet residential pocket of LIC, but only 2 minutes from Court Square station, with access to the 7/E/F/G trains; 2 minutes to Murray Park, and a 10-minute walk to the river. Other highlights include a Trader Joe’s around the corner and walkable access to all of LIC’s wonderful food options.
