My Dubai building is forcing facial recognition access — can they legally do this?
the complex building where I live in Dubai for the past 5 years has shifted from access cards to access the building to facial recognition machines.
I don’t feel comfortable giving my facial biometrics to a private company!
Has nobody in the management thought of consent before shifting to this method?
I am concerned of potential identity theft and access all my personal banking or legal documents, with the rise of deep fake.
